Civil CAD Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and revise CAD drawings for federal projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and meet project specifications.

• Conduct quality assurance checks on drawings to verify accuracy and completeness.

• Assist in the development of documentation, reports, plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.

• Work closely with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, along with project managers, to fully grasp project requirements and goals.

• Convert design concepts and engineering feedback into detailed drawings.

• Incorporate markups and revisions as directed by team members to maintain current plans.

• Play a role in meeting client expectations and adhering to project timelines alongside the project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience is required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.

• An Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team is important.

• A basic understanding of federal principles is preferred.
