Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, NJ Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, create medication treatment plans, and provide ongoing medication management services for children and adolescents.

• Work in partnership with the InStride care team along with outpatient pediatricians and psychiatrists.

• Engage in clinical team meetings that emphasize patient care, teamwork, and education.

• Schedule patient appointments as necessary.

• Ensure timely and comprehensive documentation is completed.

• Offer insights for optimizing workflow processes.

• Contribute ideas for program development and innovation.

• Collaborate with families, primary care doctors, and outpatient prescribers to effectively address patients’ needs.

• Foster a welcoming and professional environment for patients, families, staff, and referring physicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid MD license in New Jersey relevant to the clinical field.

• Willingness to obtain additional medical licenses as the care model expands into other states.

• Dedication to providing compassionate and thoughtful treatment.

• Proficiency in medication management for children and teens dealing with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.

• Capability to complete documentation accurately and promptly.

• Comfort in collaborating within a care team and both seeking and offering support.

• Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently and professionally in a dynamic environment.

• Flexibility in adapting to changing situations.

• Competence in managing sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

• Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
