Child & Adolescent Acute Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide care across multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical units, and psychiatric crisis programs.

• Assess and treat patients experiencing crises.

• Identify the most suitable and least restrictive care level.

• Receive assistance from the 24/7 access center, which evaluates cases and facilitates treatment delivery.

• Oversee and/or apply psychotherapeutic interventions.

• Prescribe medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral issues.

• Employ a collaborative care strategy within the healthcare team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.

• Unrestricted, independent licensure required.

• Updated and established CAQH and FCVS profiles.

• Experience in providing psychiatric care to individuals of all ages.

• Proven experience in treating patients in acute crises and delivering stabilizing care in 24/7 environments.

• Ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds while offering culturally competent care.

• Familiarity with multiple EMRs concurrently.

• Advanced technical skills with laptops, cameras, monitors, Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR applications.

• Several years of telehealth experience.

• Availability of private office space at home or another location for confidentiality.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licensure and DEA licenses.

• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
