Chief Technology Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the technology strategy that aligns with the organization's goals.

• Lead the formulation and execution of WES’s technology strategy and operational framework.

• Collaborate with the executive team to articulate and enhance WES’s AI vision and strategy.

• Design and guide the advancement of the Technology organization.

• Establish rigorous portfolio and resource planning methodologies.

• Work with leadership throughout the enterprise to identify and address technology requirements.

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in leading or managing technology functions.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Demonstrated experience in leading distributed and/or remote teams.

• Strong understanding of contemporary technology capabilities and trends.

• Experience working in complex, evolving organizations with a variety of products or services.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive, sense of ownership, and robust work ethic.
