Chief Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• As a technical visionary, you will design high-level technical solutions, concepts, and applications for emerging market opportunities, guiding them from inception to commercialization in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.

• Act as a customer advocate by aiding in the creation of marketing and sales materials for new technical concepts, applications, and solutions, which includes developing customer presentations and proposals.

• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify and formulate solutions that meet the needs of U.S. Government clients, along with strategizing applications that utilize the company’s existing technologies and capabilities.

• Work alongside Kepler’s engineering team to identify, evaluate, and enhance technical upgrades for current products, supporting commercial and government efforts in the U.S., as well as critical strategic initiatives globally.

• Keep abreast of the space industry, including technology and market trends.

• Function as the technology leader on Kepler’s U.S. leadership team.

• Travel is expected to be approximately 25-30% annually, both domestically and internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.

• Over 15 years of directly relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience in collaborating and co-designing solutions for commercial and Federal customers.

• Strong design capability to transform ideas from conceptual notions into products or services that possess technical credibility and address business and market demands.

• A robust technology leader with a demonstrated history in innovation strategy related to new product development, strategic planning, goal setting, process development, and budgeting.

• Experienced in managing and mentoring individuals and technical teams within an agile framework.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills combined with a problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to articulate technical topics in accessible business language while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• High intellectual capacity to identify new opportunities, clarify objectives, maintain focus, and make difficult decisions in complex and dynamic situations.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the capability to credibly present technical or business cases to executive leadership.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Current and/or active U.S. TS DOD clearance.
