This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
β’ Take ownership of zero-to-one and jump ball initiatives β high-priority projects that currently lack a designated internal leader.
β’ Lead these projects from initial framing to final recommendations or seamless handoffs. This entails executing the individual contributor work yourself: crafting the memo, developing the model, and conducting the analysis.
β’ Manage the FinOps operating rhythm β oversee the Finance Leadership Team meetings from start to finish (including agenda setting, preparation, and accountability), design and facilitate leadership onsite sessions and All Hands meetings, and track organizational goals while identifying risks before they escalate into issues.
β’ Assist the CFO in cultivating external customer relationships β both through curated CFO community events and crucial one-on-one interactions with ServiceTitan's most important customers.
β’ Handle the logistics, preparation, and follow-up that ensure these touchpoints are consistently of high quality. Over time, build your own connections within that network.
β’ Be the go-to person for the CFO when urgent matters need swift action and lack a clear owner.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, or business partner-oriented FP&A, with significant time spent in an operational role where you were accountable for outcomes, not merely analysis.
β’ A proven history of completing the individual contributor work independently; you can reference specific deliverables you personally led from inception, including the framing, output, and final results.
β’ Demonstrated capability to interact directly with C-suite or VP-level executives without requiring a principal to facilitate.
β’ Natural collaborator; you accomplish tasks through relationships rather than authority, and people find collaborating with you effortless.
