Chief of Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Overseeing daily business operations and serving as the operational support for the Founder and CEO.

• Coordinating and guiding cross-functional growth initiatives, including business development, talent offerings, and strategic partnerships.

• Establishing and sustaining the company's operational rhythm through KPIs, dashboards, weekly/monthly reviews, and escalation paths.

• Managing communications with external stakeholders, requiring a focus on commercial sensitivity rather than creative public relations.

• Negotiating with suppliers, platforms, and contracts to optimize both cost and delivery efficiency.

• Implementing high-velocity project sprints by setting milestones, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring timely completion.

• Supervising the execution of various deliverables by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in management consulting, strategy, operations, or a dynamic commercial role (preferably from top-tier consultancies, investment banking, or venture capital firms).

• A degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

• Clear commercial acumen: ability to create financial/ROI models, challenge assumptions, and close deals.

• Strong analytical skills, with experience in building dashboards and KPIs.

• Familiarity with CRM and project management tools is preferred.

• Exceptional reliability, a strong work ethic, and an ownership mentality; we anticipate intense commitment due to the demands of our role.

• Proven capability to thrive under pressure, prioritize effectively, and deliver with minimal supervision.

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with excellent stakeholder management abilities.

• Timezone alignment is essential; you must operate within the same timezone as the CEO and adopt a 24/7 mindset (please be transparent about your timezone in your application).
