Chief of Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic ally to goop's Co-CEOs and executive leadership, fostering strategic alignment, execution, and communication throughout the organization.

• Advocate for the Co-CEOs' interests within goop's sectors (beauty & fashion), Gwyneth's media influence, and investment endeavors.

• Serve as a gatekeeper, discerning when to filter requests and when to allow direct communication.

• Manage, assess, prioritize, and address incoming inquiries directed to the Co-CEOs.

• Create executive-level briefings, memos, and presentations for the Co-CEOs.

• Design, construct, and sustain AI-driven systems.

• Lead and facilitate weekly meetings with the executive team, ensuring timely completion of action items.

• Craft communications led by the Co-CEOs for all-company meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of business experience, with a minimum of 2 years working directly alongside C-level executives; experience in consumer goods is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to propel executive programs and high-level strategic initiatives across various functions.

• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft suite and data analytics tools.

• AI-native and adept with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion, Asana, G-Suite, and Airtable, with practical experience in building and maintaining Notion boards, databases, dashboards, plugins, AI agents, and no-code automations (e.g., Zapier).

• Experience in managing CRM systems and maintaining contact records (ensuring accuracy, deduplication, and structure).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business is required.

• Strong analytical skills, financial insight, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Comfortable with direct communication, navigating ambiguity, and rapid iteration while collaborating across time zones with global, cross-functional teams.
