Chief Legal Officer – General Counsel Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Delivering personalized 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions utilizing the Mento Platform and Tools.

• Engaging in continuous training sessions to enhance coaching skills and competencies.

• Interacting with members via your Mento email or through chat in the Mento App between sessions.

• Being a vital part of the Mento coaching community by sharing resources and insights — contributing to the enhancement of our coaching practices and supporting our mission to empower individuals to thrive in careers they are passionate about.

• Acting with compassion, respect, and empathy as a representative of the Mento community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, or another senior legal executive with over 20 years of experience leading legal teams within or related to the technology industry.

• A leader with pertinent experience in coaching individuals (coaching certification is advantageous but not mandatory).

• Someone eager to transform their leadership skills into impactful coaching abilities.

• Passionate about assisting individuals in advancing their careers to build satisfying professional and personal lives.

• A self-aware individual with a high emotional IQ who is dedicated to fostering a safe environment for others to express vulnerability.

• Enthusiastic about enhancing your coaching capabilities, embracing a growth mindset regardless of your coaching experience duration.

• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment.

• Available to commit a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for at least the next 24 months.

• You must be able to dedicate a minimum of three to five hours per week to Mento, regardless of other commitments and any changes that may occur.

• You will work with Mento for at least 24 months to foster meaningful relationships with our members.
