This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the formulation and execution of growth strategies for the Foundation's key markets, ensuring our initiatives are ambitious, evidence-based, and tailored to the specific needs of each locality.
• Assemble, lead, and manage the country and regional teams operating in our priority markets, equipping them with the clarity, resources, and support necessary for outstanding performance.
• Direct the Foundation's global partnerships function by cultivating and managing strategic relationships with partners aligned with our mission to enhance our reach and influence.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve established objectives and key results, collaborating across the organization to synchronize planning and implementation.
• Guarantee that all programs and partnerships incorporate clear monitoring and evaluation frameworks that align with our theory of change, ensuring we learn from evidence to enhance our impact over time.
• Ensure that all programs and partnerships uphold our commitments to accessibility, inclusion, and safeguarding, with a focus on benefiting underserved and educationally disadvantaged youth and communities.
• Collaborate with the Chief Learning Officer to ensure that all our efforts embody our teaching and learning principles.
• Contribute to business development and fundraising by identifying and developing opportunities to broaden the Foundation's reach and influence.
• As a member of the Executive team and the broader Leadership team, contribute to the strategic direction, culture, and values of the organization.
• A proven history of driving the growth of educational programs at scale, preferably across various countries and in diverse environments.
• Experience working within or in conjunction with education systems in low- and middle-income countries, with a solid understanding of the opportunities and challenges these contexts present.
• Direct experience or deep knowledge of one or more of the Foundation's priority markets.
• Experience in developing and managing significant strategic partnerships with governments, international NGOs, and other mission-aligned organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed, multicultural teams, adopting a management style that balances high expectations with genuine support for team members.
• A strong and evident commitment to inclusion in education, coupled with experience in translating that commitment into program design, delivery, and evaluation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, possessing the credibility and presence to represent the Foundation at senior levels externally.
• Experience in business development and fundraising, including identifying new opportunities and engaging with funders and partners.
• A sincere commitment to the Foundation's mission of enabling all young people to reach their full potential through the power of computing and AI.
