Chief Financing Officer – CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Direct the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.

• Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s growth objectives.

• Supervise accounting operations, manage treasury, tax planning, compliance, and auditing processes.

• Deliver financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership for informed decision-making.

• Oversee cash flow management, conduct financial risk assessments, and plan investments.

• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Manage the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.

• Collaborate with department leaders to enhance both operational and financial performance.

• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence processes, and financial modeling efforts.

• Establish and refine financial controls, systems, policies, and operational procedures.

• Work in close partnership with billing and operations teams to ensure effective financial oversight of medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

• Demonstrated experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a senior finance leadership position.

• Strong expertise in financial strategy, accounting operations, and corporate finance.

• Familiarity with medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) practices.

• Advanced understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and financial analysis techniques.

• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.

• Experience in IT firms, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Experience managing financial operations within growing organizations.

• Reliable internet access at home, with a minimum speed of 25 MBPS.

• Availability of a mobile hotspot.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer with at least 16 GB of RAM.
