Chief Financial Officer – CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of financial planning, reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, budgeting, and treasury operations.

• Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly reports covering revenue, profitability, cash status, working capital, and performance by business unit.

• Spearhead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and capital allocation strategies.

• Enhance financial controls, approval workflows, internal reporting, and operational discipline throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to assess growth investments, customer acquisition costs, pricing strategies, supplier agreements, and profit margins.

• Supervise accounting, tax obligations, statutory reporting, audits, payroll, and compliance for both Estonian and international entities.

• Cultivate relationships with banks, payment processors, accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and external partners.

• Assist in corporate structuring, intercompany arrangements, fundraising efforts, acquisitions, and expansion into new markets as necessary.

• Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years in senior finance roles, preferably including positions such as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or experience with Big Four transaction/advisory firms.

• Proven experience in high-growth environments such as technology, digital products, e-commerce, subscription models, performance marketing, or payments is highly desirable.

• Strong expertise in cash flow management, P&L accountability, unit economics, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• Familiarity with Estonian accounting, tax regulations, statutory reporting, and international group structures.

• Demonstrated commercial acumen: understanding that finance entails not just reporting past performance but also contributing to future strategic decisions.

• Highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and adept at navigating a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of transitioning between strategic initiatives and hands-on execution.

• Exceptional English communication skills.
