Chief Engineer, Process

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives focused on process improvement to boost cost efficiency, quality, yield, productivity, and robustness within the Mold process.

• Create, refine, and execute Mold processes utilizing statistical tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

• Spearhead investigations and implement corrective measures for customer complaints, production challenges, OQA findings, and other Mold-related quality issues.

• Take ownership of Mold yield performance by tracking visual and mechanical defects, instituting corrective actions, and ensuring process stability.

• Develop and sustain process documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and standardized workflows.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on equipment specifications, process standardization, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites.

• Conduct technical training, disseminate best practices, and assist in the competency development of Mold Process Engineers.

• Facilitate production continuity and meet business KPIs by driving process optimization and ensuring zero Mold process-related customer complaints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Semiconductor Assembly Engineering, preferably within Mold Process Engineering.

• Comprehensive technical knowledge of Mold processes, Mold equipment, tooling, process controls, and Epoxy Molding Compound (EMC) materials.

• Expertise in statistical analysis and engineering tools such as Minitab, JMP, SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM, and structured problem-solving techniques.

• Proven experience in driving process optimization, yield enhancement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management abilities with a capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of effective teamwork across cross-functional groups.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
