This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and manage the Foundation's commercial strategy, ensuring it supports and enhances the organization's mission.
• Incorporate a commercial viewpoint into upcoming product development and organizational strategies.
• Identify and assess new commercial avenues, partnerships, and income models.
• As part of the senior leadership team, contribute to the strategic direction, culture, and values of the organization.
• Propel growth in commercial revenue, taking responsibility for performance against established targets.
• Formulate and implement targeted growth strategies for key countries and regions, collaborating closely with the global partnerships team.
• Optimize relationships with global manufacturers and distributors to activate the Foundation's sales network.
• Expand existing routes to market—particularly the Channel Partner program—and seek out new channels.
• Collaborate across functions, particularly with partnerships and marketing teams, to enhance commercial opportunities.
• Partner with global manufacturing associates to ensure supply chain resilience and maintain best practices in manufacturing.
• Oversee product compliance, collaborating with the Foundation's compliance manager and external partners to develop and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy.
• Over 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience, with a proven record of formulating and executing strategies that have resulted in sustained growth.
• Background in edtech, hardware, or within a not-for-profit or social enterprise environment.
• Ability to function commercially within a mission-driven organization, maintaining a focus on the impact for children and educators in decision-making processes.
• A clear commitment to the Foundation's mission and values.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to build coalitions and generate momentum.
• Strong communication skills—articulate and capable of translating complex information for varied audiences.
• Experience in building and leading diverse, remote teams.
• Proven track record of collaborative work across functions to achieve common objectives.
• Experience in leading commercial initiatives in international markets, with strong cultural sensitivity and the ability to drive performance among globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with working in a small, scaling, or start-up organization.
• Salary of £90,000-95,000 GBP per annum
