This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and execute CWM removal under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) or Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
• Formulate intricate technical strategies and competitive pricing for the detection and elimination of CWM and/or conventional munitions.
• Develop CWM work plans and timelines, manage budgets and quality, and lead field teams during removal operations in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology, or a related earth science discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience, which includes at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager for federal projects.
• US citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
• Experience with USACE's Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) performing CWM remediation operations.
• In-depth understanding of USACE EP 75-1-3.
• Participation in the development and execution of a Defense Department Explosives Safety Board (DDESB)-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS) for conducting CWM removal actions.
• Strong preference for candidates with over 5 years managing CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center.
• Proven ability to manage projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Knowledgeable in project financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational management capabilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification.
• Proven track record in proposal writing, including Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals.
• Demonstrated success in marketing and securing work effectively.
• Advanced understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and USACE MMR with a focus on CWM requirements and processes.
• Excellent and relevant references.
