This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee and execute CWM removal activities under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
• Formulate intricate technical strategies and competitive pricing models for the detection and elimination of Chemical Warfare Material (CWM) and/or conventional munitions.
• Develop CWM work plans and timelines, manage budgets and quality, and lead field teams during the execution of removal operations in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology, or a related earth science field.
• More than 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager for federal projects, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Preferred experience with USACE Munitions Response Program (MMRP) in conducting CWM remediation operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of USACE EP 75-1-3 and involvement in the development and execution of a Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB)-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS).
• Strongly preferred: over 5 years of experience managing CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center.
• Proven track record of managing projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Familiarity with project financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Strong organizational management skills and ability to perform meticulous work.
• Experience in MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification.
• Proven skills in proposal writing, particularly for Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals.
• Demonstrated success in marketing and securing work effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and USACE MMR with a focus on CWM requirements and processes.
