This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Develop and implement a channel sales strategy for the APAC region, targeting specific countries and key distributors.
• Oversee distributors in the APAC region, excluding ANZ, acting as the primary contact and managing the distribution quota for APAC.
• Handle the Microsoft relationship within APAC, which includes managing incentives and the overall value proposition.
• Supervise Channel Sales Specialists in the APAC sales team, focusing on KPIs, quotas, and performance evaluations.
• Create short-, medium-, and long-term business plans and strategies for the APAC channel.
• Meet the assigned quarterly and annual channel sales quotas for the APAC region.
• Participate in monthly forecasting calls for the APAC region.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key distributors and coordinate efforts with account managers, marketing, product management, and sales management.
• Establish and maintain enduring relationships with channel partners while executing channel strategies.
• Drive consistent channel bookings through collaborative business planning, specialist management, and channel enablement initiatives.
• Foster internal relationships at BitTitan to enhance speed-to-market and expedite opportunity closures.
• Create visual presentations that convey BitTitan's value proposition effectively.
• Formulate marketing strategies aimed at achieving specific KPIs and booking targets.
• Ensure effective use of SFDC for distributor planning, contact management, opportunity management, forecasting, and win/loss analysis.
• Travel to engage with partners and customers, expand the channel business, and relay product requirements to BitTitan.
• Exhibit cultural sensitivity to local customs and business practices while promoting BitTitan's global cloud-based SaaS value proposition.
• 5–7 years of experience in channel sales, including experience carrying a quota.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in the APAC region.
• Proven track record in developing partner relationships and achieving positive regional results.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in driving sales and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, encompassing both formal and informal presentations.
• Strong experience in sales leadership.
• Background in the technology sector, particularly in cloud-based SaaS environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with account management, marketing, product, finance, customer support, and sales teams.
• Proficient in managing ambiguous situations and assignments.
• Comfortable delivering presentations to clients.
• Proven success in sales, people management, precise forecasting, and achieving goals.
• Skilled in sales negotiations at all levels of client organizations, including influencing executive-level decision-makers.
• Capable of leading and working remotely while making sound decisions with limited guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field relevant to the technology industry.
• Proficient in reading and communicating in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and internationally, approximately 25–40% of the time.
• Availability for weekday attendance from Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling around core working hours.
• Occasional weekend attendance may be required, typically for travel and industry/trade events.
• Relevant certifications in the sales profession, such as the Miller Heiman Strategic Selling Program.
