This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Formulate and implement channel strategies for distributors and resellers within the designated territory.
• Enhance Canonical's visibility as a leading entity in Open Source and Cloud (Private, Hybrid, Multi, and Public models).
• Identify and onboard new potential partners within the assigned territory.
• Utilize personal networks and prospecting capabilities to engage new partners and strengthen Canonical’s existing relationships.
• Assist partners throughout the onboarding and enablement process.
• Create mutually beneficial go-to-market strategies and agreements with partners.
• Organize and conduct sales and pre-sales training for these resellers.
• Manage and drive the channel pipeline through consistent interactions with partners.
• Ensure partner satisfaction while serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Maintain regular communication with key resellers and distributors.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technology-related field.
• Experience in software or technology sales within the relevant market.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu.
• Self-motivated with a proven history of meeting sales targets.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up abilities.
• Skilled in negotiation with a demonstrated ability to close sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Productive in a globally distributed team environment through self-discipline and motivation.
• Mature approach to developing long-term customer relationships.
• Capability to represent the company at external events.
• Experience in a start-up setting is a plus.
