• Formulating and implementing a comprehensive channel partner strategy that aligns with annual sales goals, nurturing mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance market penetration and bolster Linx’s brand presence in West Africa.
• Recognizing, assessing, and onboarding new channel partners in key markets to expand Linx’s outreach and stimulate growth throughout the region.
• Enhancing distributor performance through consistent business reviews, tracking essential metrics (revenue, bookings, sales funnel, installed base growth, aftermarket revenue), and offering coaching, commercial discipline, and tools to boost partner sales efficiency.
• Orchestrating strategic engagement with significant end-user customers in collaboration with distributors, developing and managing tailored key account plans for our Continuous Inkjet (CIJ), laser, and thermal printing solutions, as well as supporting field trials and demonstration activities to expedite sales cycles.
• Regularly analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes, utilizing customer and market insights to refine product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategies for the Sub-Saharan Africa market.
• Advocating for the disciplined use of CRM and sales enablement tools to enhance sales pipeline precision, forecasting, and visibility, while equipping channel partners with compelling selling narratives that emphasize Linx’s reliability, low total cost of ownership, and high uptime benefits.
• Over 5 years of experience in channel management and industrial B2B sales, preferably within the technology, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors.
• A proven history of managing distributor networks and driving partner-led sales growth, evidenced by achieving or surpassing regional sales objectives.
• Established success in key account management, with the capability to influence and secure strategic customer deals both directly and through channel partners.
• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or a similar technical discipline); an MBA or equivalent business management qualification is preferred.
• Experience in navigating diverse markets in West Africa (or comparable emerging regions), with an understanding of local market dynamics and cultural sensitivities.
• Must be fluent in both French and English languages.
