This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Overseeing daily operations of distributors to ensure compliance with brand policies, achievement of distribution goals, and execution of promotional activities.
• Providing training for distributor sales personnel, monitoring competitive market trends, and assessing distributor performance in relation to our initiatives.
• Assisting the Regional Manager.
• Creating and nurturing a list of key on-premise accounts within the designated territory to establish regular contact frequency and strong partnerships.
• Conducting regular planning and review sessions with designated contacts at Distributors and On-Premise Directors of Sales to discuss depletions, objectives, sold accounts, and PODs, among other topics.
• Promoting and leveraging our brands to boost volume and aid distributors in meeting our goals and objectives.
• Maintaining a strong presence at the distributor office, engaging with sales representatives and management to ensure brand visibility.
• Aligning with key local events and participating when appropriate to fit our strategy, including the implementation of national initiatives in your local area.
• Serving as the primary liaison for distributor sales teams to keep them informed about local and national objectives and programs, while offering support for all sales-related efforts.
• Conducting product seminars at accounts and in collaboration with distributor sales teams.
• Providing updates on National Account Mandate compliance as required.
• Staying updated on customer and consumer trends.
• Maintaining a calendar of activities and promotions, ensuring effective communication with distributors and third-party agencies.
• Delivering a monthly market activity report to the Regional Manager, which includes objectives, achievements, competitive insights, special projects, and any specific requirements.
• Offering market and competitive brand updates to the Regional Manager, including timely and accurate information about changing field conditions that may influence volumes, as well as staffing changes among distributors and competitors.
• Reviewing program execution updates with distributor management.
• Providing insights on the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, advertising, etc.
• Engaging in special projects such as verifying pricing and distribution at on-premise accounts.
• Occasionally handling tasks or requests related to the off-premise segment, as guided by the Regional Manager.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the distilled spirits/wine supplier industry.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in collecting data from diverse sources and presenting it in formats suitable for various audiences.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services, including marketing strategy, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and control systems.
• Strong managerial capabilities and effective presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ProDriver reporting system.
• Preferred but not required: Emphasis in Management and/or Marketing.
• Advanced computer skills.
