This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Interact with CFOs from top-tier companies and organizations, bringing Gartner insights to life for them.
• Regularly meet with CFOs to assist Gartner Sales & Service Delivery teams in understanding their critical priorities and how Gartner for CFOs can support them in achieving these goals.
• The Member Acquisition position within GCFO is strategically designed to educate and assist Sales in identifying new business opportunities.
• You will serve as a coach for the Sales Team, aiding in the closing and qualifying of both new and existing clients while educating them on the true value proposition of the CFO service, effectively illustrating it through client success stories.
• You will actively engage in the strategic account planning process to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct Proof of Concept Calls and assist in defining and preparing Service Kick-Offs, transitioning clients to a Service Delivery associate for ongoing support.
• Although you are not solely responsible for selling the GCFO service, you should feel comfortable in a Sales-driven environment and find motivation in regularly engaging with prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the Executive Partner for the GCFO Team, as well as the Finance Sales, Product Marketing, and Research teams to develop and implement the GCFO go-to-market strategy.
• Provide reporting on Proof of Concept activities, including conducted POCs, conversion rates, continuous improvement initiatives, and insights related to GCFO growth efforts.
• Over 20 years of experience in a senior management position within a Finance role, with a minimum of 5 years as a CFO or in a similar capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the finance function and finance transformation activities, including Strategy, Organization Design, Process Improvements/Digitization, Technology (ERP), Data Governance, Finance Talent & Skills, Board Leadership, CFO Personal Impact & Effectiveness, Cost and Capital Management, and Data & Analytics.
• Proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives.
• Must have experience across a DIVERSE array of industries and ownership structures (both private and public).
• Experience within Fortune 500 companies is highly regarded.
• Background in a Sales-oriented role (preferably in a consulting context) with a strong grasp of sales metrics is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated history of coaching, presenting, and collaborating at a senior level, ideally with C-level executives.
• Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a healthy level of humility and experience working with C-level executives.
• This individual should exhibit strong reflective listening abilities and adapt to client cues and needs effectively.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence others.
• Excellent time and project management skills; attention to detail is essential.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
