CFO Advisory Senior Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Build collaborative partnerships with private equity clients and management teams of portfolio companies.

• Implement intricate accounting and finance optimization workstreams.

• Oversee assigned engagement duties and produce precise, client-ready outputs.

• Utilize U.S. GAAP and operational finance principles for financial reporting, enhancing the close process, ensuring audit readiness, and conducting operational analyses.

• Engage in client discussions and provide status updates.

• Assist engagement leadership with coordination, planning alignment, and key deliverables.

• Recognize and convey risks, challenges, and delays along with potential solutions.

• Deliver practical accounting and finance assistance to companies backed by private equity.

• Aid in the integration process post-acquisition.

• Enhance financial reporting and closing procedures.

• Prepare for and facilitate audits.

• Examine working capital, cash flow, and operational finance.

• Generate analyses, schedules, and client-ready deliverables.

• Manage designated workstreams and adhere to engagement deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with Controllers, CFOs, and representatives from private equity.

• Take part in client meetings, providing updates and supporting documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Must possess and maintain necessary licenses.

• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards for private companies.

• CPA or a comparable professional certification is required.

• 9 years of pertinent experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Previous experience in audit, advisory, financial consulting, or operational finance, ideally within a private equity-backed portfolio company setting.

• Strong analytical capabilities, Excel proficiency, and financial modeling skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
