CFD Engineer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Train and assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation tasks at an expert level.

• Utilize CAD geometry to prepare and execute simulations.

• Develop verified reference solutions.

• Create Python checks to evaluate the results produced by AI agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil & gas; a PhD is preferred but not mandatory.

• Several years of practical industry or research experience in CFD using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including expertise in meshing.

• Strong verification and validation skills, including conducting mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental data or benchmarks.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub.

• Proficient in English at B2 level or higher.

• Desirable: background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery.

• Desirable: experience with multiphase or particle-laden flow.
