This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design compact, self-sufficient CFD and aerodynamics tasks that assess the engineering reasoning of AI models.
• Formulate clear and technically precise problem statements that encompass topics such as boundary conditions, mesh quality, flow regimes, and simulation configurations.
• Create deterministic scoring checkers that objectively assess AI-generated responses.
• Generate verified reference solutions to guarantee that each task is technically sound and fully solvable.
• Evaluate and enhance engineering tasks to increase clarity, physical accuracy, and suitable difficulty levels.
• Leverage real-world experience with OpenFOAM to craft practical and realistic engineering scenarios.
• Operate independently in a fully remote, asynchronous setting with total scheduling flexibility.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Practical experience utilizing OpenFOAM for computational fluid dynamics simulations.
• Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
• Experience in:
• Mesh generation
• Turbulence modeling
• Boundary condition specification
• Post-processing and simulation analysis
• Capability to articulate clear, precise, and objectively verifiable engineering problems.
• Exceptional written English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
• Flexible schedule with an anticipated workload of 10–39 hours per week,
• Payments are made weekly for work completed in the preceding week.
