CFD & Aerodynamic Engineer – AI Training & Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create compact, self-contained CFD and aerodynamics problems that assess the engineering reasoning of AI models.

• Develop clear and technically precise problem statements encompassing aspects such as boundary conditions, mesh quality, flow regimes, and simulation setup.

• Construct deterministic scoring checkers that objectively assess responses generated by AI.

• Generate verified reference solutions to confirm that each task is technically sound and entirely solvable.

• Evaluate and enhance engineering tasks to boost clarity, physical accuracy, and suitable difficulty levels.

• Utilize practical experience with OpenFOAM to craft realistic and applicable engineering scenarios.

• Operate autonomously in a completely remote and asynchronous environment, enjoying full flexibility in scheduling.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Practical experience with OpenFOAM for conducting computational fluid dynamics simulations.

• A solid understanding of fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer principles.

• Familiarity with: Mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary condition specification, and post-processing and simulation analysis.

• Capable of writing clear, precise, and objectively verifiable engineering problems.

• Outstanding written communication skills in English.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
