This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Design compact, self-contained CFD and aerodynamics tasks that assess the engineering reasoning of AI models.
β’ Create clear and technically precise problem statements encompassing topics such as boundary conditions, mesh quality, flow regimes, and simulation setup.
β’ Develop deterministic scoring checkers that objectively assess AI-generated responses.
β’ Produce verified reference solutions to guarantee that each task is technically accurate and entirely solvable.
β’ Review and enhance engineering tasks to improve clarity, physical accuracy, and suitable difficulty levels.
β’ Leverage real-world experience with OpenFOAM to create practical and realistic engineering scenarios.
β’ Work autonomously in a fully remote, asynchronous setting with complete scheduling flexibility.
β’ Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
β’ Practical experience with OpenFOAM for conducting computational fluid dynamics simulations.
β’ Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
β’ Experience in: Mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary condition specification, and post-processing and simulation analysis.
β’ Ability to craft clear, precise, and objectively verifiable engineering problems.
β’ Excellent written English communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts succinctly.
β’ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
β’ Nice to Haves: Experience in aerospace, automotive, motorsports, renewable energy, or industrial CFD applications.
