This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Delivering outstanding customer service daily within a phone-based environment.
• Inputting a significant volume of data, ensuring the processing of prescription information is done swiftly and accurately.
• Applying comprehensive drug knowledge to efficiently handle prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Executing claim adjudication and auditing responsibilities, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility assessments.
• Involving outbound communications with patients.
• Navigating through current case queues to resolve patient care challenges.
• Acting as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on behalf of patients.
• Collaborating with technicians and pharmacists to guarantee the successful onboarding of new patients to ExactCare.
• Keeping patient records with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Accurately retrieving all prescription details and confirming through doctor calls.
• Making welcome calls to newly onboarded patients to establish a reliable point of contact.
• Conducting outbound calls to patients to create, maintain, or update their medication profiles.
• Providing backup support during periods of increased patient call volume.
• Effectively addressing patient inquiries over the phone.
• Functioning in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient community.
• Representing AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA), with a current certificate.
• Must hold a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Capability to work in an office-based (or remote) environment that necessitates sitting at a desk for 90% of the time.
