Certified Pharmacy Technician – Learning Mentor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate 1:1 and/or small group virtual sessions aimed at enhancing technical skills and preparing for exams.

• Deliver real-time feedback and coaching on student skill performances and areas of difficulty within the curriculum.

• Simplify complex subjects (such as dosage calculations, pharmacy law, and conversions) into clear, visual lessons.

• Provide insights into practical pharmacy environments to aid students in comprehending daily responsibilities.

• Respond quickly and compassionately to learner inquiries.

• Assist students in developing a growth mindset and offer support when they encounter challenges.

• Monitor student progress and identify those at risk of falling behind.

• Collaborate with internal teams to implement timely interventions and ensure students remain on track.

• Engage in mentor training, team meetings, and ongoing efforts to enhance the program.

• Ensure alignment with the Program Operations and Career Success teams to maintain consistency and enhance the learner experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA) along with current state licensure.

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a practicing Pharmacy Technician.

• Background in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students in healthcare or vocational training settings.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Familiarity with Zoom, Google Workspace, and online learning platforms.
