This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Delivering an outstanding customer service experience daily in a phone-centric environment.
• Managing a substantial volume of data; promptly and accurately processing prescription information.
• Applying comprehensive drug knowledge to efficiently handle prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Executing claim adjudication and auditing responsibilities, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility verifications.
• Conducting outbound calls to patients.
• Navigating through current case queues to resolve patient care concerns.
• Acting as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on behalf of patients.
• Collaborating with technicians and pharmacists to ensure successful onboarding of new patients with ExactCare.
• Keeping patient records with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Accurately retrieving all prescription information and confirming through calls to doctors.
• Making welcome calls to newly onboarded patients and establishing a reliable point of contact.
• Initiating outbound calls to patients to create, maintain, or update their medication profiles.
• Providing backup support during peak patient call volumes.
• Effectively addressing patient inquiries over the phone.
• Performing in a high-volume, fast-paced setting to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base.

• Fulfilling other assigned duties.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA), with a current certificate.
• Must have a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Comfortable operating in a phone-based setting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated and oriented towards achieving goals.
• Proficiency in using computer equipment, technology, and navigating multiple software programs for medication authorizations, clarifications, and/or transfers.
• Exceptional customer service skills; adept in addressing the needs of doctors’ offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing practices.
• Understanding of proper procedures for handling prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers, including clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong skills in prioritization and organization.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
