Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Adhere to the guidelines of the Substance Use Disorder Program to plan care, evaluate client needs, and conduct screenings.

• Direct clients to suitable resources and collaborate with the Substance Use Disorder Program team, primary care providers, managed care organizations, and community agencies to ensure high-quality care.

• Assess individual member needs and document interventions grounded in relationships and evaluations.

• Offer support to members across various settings and assist with support groups as necessary.

• Participate in case management meetings to guarantee a cohesive team approach for each member.

• Complete documentation for member interactions, cancellations, and care plans in accordance with organizational policies.

• Maintain professional communication with members, families, physicians, community organizations, agency leadership, and office personnel.

• Adhere to the chain of command when addressing concerns or recommendations.

• Accountable for meeting established goals/Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

• You are a Peer Recovery Specialist or Peer Support Specialist who has effectively engaged in a recovery program.

• You possess a caring and compassionate nature, with a strong desire to assist individuals encountering substance-exposed living to make positive changes in their lives.

• You demonstrate robust organizational skills and excel in problem-solving.
