This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Initiate virtual appointments with patients to gather healthcare information prior to their consultations with MDs, Nurse Practitioners, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
• Assist in coordinating treatment plans involving the patient, their family, and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Aid staff in completing various tasks such as collecting vital signs, obtaining consent, recording information, and scheduling future appointments.
• Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary care team that includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and facilitated telehealth coordinators.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and workflow within the department while supporting the patient care team in executing the medical plan of care.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to the responsibilities of this position.
• At least two years of experience in a medical environment or one year in a behavioral health setting, or an equivalent job classification.
• Previous experience working in behavioral health and/or with elderly populations is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish-English or Haitian-Creole is preferred.
• Graduation and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Support in healthcare information collection.
• Coordination of treatment involving the patient, family, and multidisciplinary care team.
• Assistance to staff with vital sign collection.
