Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients with meals, encompassing preparation and providing feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.

• Support patients in self-administering medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record care provided according to organizational guidelines.

• Carry out additional tasks as required to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from AHA.

• A valid driver’s license along with an insured, dependable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.

• Sincere empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional, tactful demeanor with attention to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services).
