Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Aid in mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Support patients with meal preparation and provide feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.

• Assist patients with the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Document the care provided in line with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as required for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Home Health Aide in California.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, comprehend written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

• Demonstrates genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintains professionalism, tact, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Nice to Have: Registration on the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services).
