Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients during meals, which includes food preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure as instructed.

• Support patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for patients.

• Observe patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Document the care provided in accordance with organizational protocols.

• Carry out additional duties as required for patient services.

• Offer compassionate, hands-on support directly within patients' homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

⛳️ Requirements

• A California Certified Home Health Aide certificate is mandatory.

• Current CPR certification from AHA is required.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and an insured, dependable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the CA Home Care Aide Registry is preferred but not mandatory.
