Certified Coder, PRN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Interpret and invoice physician charges

• Input charges into the Billing System with precise codes

• Assess documentation for coding accuracy

• Track and follow up on billing submissions

• Collaborate with physicians regarding coding practices

• Engage in staff meetings and project management activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification

• Strong understanding of medical terminology

• Familiarity with third-party billing and collection regulatory standards

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Capable of working independently or as part of a team

• Proficient in office equipment and software, including MS Office and EMR systems

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
