This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Ensure precise documentation of revenue transactions in alignment with established policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate census records within the Accounts Receivable system for proper billing.
• Oversee the correct application and reconciliation of all electronic and manual deposits.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with Business Office personnel and related departments.
• Keep accurate daily census records, including the number of resident units and residents entering or leaving the community.
• Document admissions, discharges, and transfers according to community protocols.
• Provide census data to designated vendors or providers for billing purposes.
• Input all cash receipts into PCC.
• Inform the community of any significant over- or underpayments.
• Store all cash-related documents in accordance with established procedures.
• Review and update the Daily Cash Log by reconciling the PCC Cash Receipts Journal with the Daily Cash Log.
• Enter all new ACH and Credit Card authorizations in Wells Fargo CyberSource and ensure that all recurring transactions are reviewed and updated monthly.
• Process ancillary charge batches.
• Handle refunds and write-offs.
• Generate monthly statements and distribute them to the community.
• Complete the PCC Month End Close and upload all necessary documents to the Month End Close Application.
• Assist and support other staff as needed to ensure high productivity and efficiency within the department.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Comfortable and capable of learning and utilizing new computer operating systems, word processing software, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Business office setting.
• Basic understanding of cash posting and reconciliation processes is essential.
• Previous office experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
