Category Manager – IT Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation of category strategies for IT Services that align with JLL’s business objectives and technology roadmap.

• Execute sourcing and negotiate with suppliers for IT managed services, IT staff augmentation, contingent labor, systems integration and implementation services, IT consulting and advisory services, as well as application development and support services.

• Oversee procurement activities from the development of RFPs through bid management, commercial assessment, and contract execution.

• Draft contract documentation and recommendations in accordance with JLL’s Delegation of Authority.

• Elevate strategic recommendations and decisions that exceed standard Delegation of Authority limits to the Category Director.

• Maintain demand plans, pinpoint opportunities for supplier consolidation, and enhance pricing rates.

• Collaborate with IT delivery leads and business stakeholders to ensure regional requirements are met.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with IT services suppliers and staffing partners.

• Assist with supply base rationalization and the strategic supplier framework.

• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain scorecards to monitor contractual compliance and service standards.

• Achieve cost savings, cost avoidance, and added value.

• Keep track of savings and project calendars.

• Monitor market trends, labor rate benchmarks, and commercial models.

• Support sourcing tools, process enhancements, and best practices in alignment with JLL procurement policies and ethical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in strategic sourcing within IT services, staffing, or systems integration categories.

• Experience in supporting category strategies across various regions or business units.

• Capacity to manage procurement projects from strategy to execution with moderate supervision.

• Strong commercial acumen, encompassing contract negotiation, rate card analysis, and supplier performance management.

• Proven ability to leverage AI for improved efficiency and outcomes.

• Proficiency in establishing effective working relationships with technology and business stakeholders, and collaborating across procurement, IT, finance, and operations.

• Good judgment on decision-making and escalation processes.

• Relevant degree in business, supply chain, information technology, or a related field.

• Familiarity with major IT services and staff augmentation providers and their commercial frameworks.

• Working knowledge of labor rate benchmarking and structuring statements of work is advantageous.

• Experience in sourcing systems integration or IT consulting engagements is a plus.

• CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent certification (or actively pursuing one) is welcomed.

• Background in corporate real estate, facilities management, or professional services is a plus.
