This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate sourcing strategies for designated categories to enhance cost savings and informed purchasing choices.
• Oversee supplier request procedures, encompassing RFI, RFP, RFQ, and RFB.
• Negotiate procurement contracts, including terms and pricing agreements.
• Direct cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Prepare requests and evaluation models.
• Conduct vendor assessments.
• Create service level agreements.
• Manage related sourcing initiatives.
• Revise basic contractual terms such as payment conditions and purchase orders.
• Analyze category, spending, financial, and industry data to uncover sourcing, cost-saving, and cost-reduction possibilities.
• Perform risk assessments and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to achieve or surpass cost-saving objectives.
• Foster and sustain relationships with internal clients and stakeholders across Operations, Legal, Accounting, and Finance.
• Present sourcing opportunities to garner internal support.
• Establish and nurture supplier relationships.
• Oversee supplier performance and execute supplier evaluations.
• Develop plans for service improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Create efficiencies in business processes that add value, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, or 4+ years of professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Proven understanding of supply chain, category management, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract concepts.
• Capability to lead teams, manage projects, and achieve project objectives.
• Skill in identifying opportunities through data and financial analysis, risk assessment, and process evaluation.
• Proficient in negotiating purchasing agreements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Experience with Contract Management and E-Sourcing Systems.
• Acquaintance with e-procurement technologies.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications or wireless sector is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Windows and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• CPSM, PMP, or Six Sigma certification is an asset.
