This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of our home computing accessories marketplace category, holding full responsibility for its performance.
• Propel P&L outcomes through effective pricing, margin management, and strategic commercial decisions to ensure sustainable growth in the category.
• Develop and implement the category strategy, encompassing assortment, planograms, and continuous optimization based on performance analytics.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with marketplace partners, leveraging strong account management skills along with category oversight.
• Examine market and industry trends (such as market share, competitive landscape, and category performance) to guide informed, data-driven choices.
• Collaborate across functions and utilize data to achieve success, refining assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Over 5 years of experience in category management within retail, e-commerce, or marketplace settings, with complete ownership of a product category.
• Strong understanding of commercial and P&L responsibilities, including expertise in pricing, margin management, GMV, and profitability metrics; experience in consumer electronics is advantageous.
• Capability to manage both category strategy and vendor/accounts, ensuring a balance between category growth and relationship management.
• An analytical and market-focused mindset, employing industry trends and performance data to steer decision-making.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with robust negotiation abilities and the capacity to excel in a dynamic environment.
