This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become a vital member of our expanding team dedicated to creating a successful casualty business portfolio.
• Provide market-appropriate solutions to our wholesale trading partners.
• Collaborate with wholesale trading partners to enhance submission flow.
• Capitalize on the most promising opportunities presented in quotes.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Casualty underwriter.
• Proficient in working with both admitted and non-admitted paper.
• Capable of functioning as a team player or independently in a dynamic work setting.
• Competent in underwriting new business and renewal policies for Casualty.
• Strong relationships with wholesale broker trading partners.
• Knowledgeable about pricing and risk selection criteria to maintain profitable loss ratios.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and executing portfolio management objectives.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• A responsive, customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to make prompt decisions based on relevant information and consultation.
• A robust entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to building and succeeding together as a high-achieving team.
• Willingness to travel independently to meet with assigned brokers or attend industry conferences or events.
