Cash Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Import and process all customer payments across all business units.

• Ensure payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner.

• Make informed decisions regarding the appropriate allocation of payments to the correct accounts; maintain accurate and detailed records of all payments received; manage unapplied payments.

• Oversee the deduction process by analyzing customer accounts with short payments.

• Demonstrate the ability to make routine decisions in line with established policies and procedures; effectively plan daily tasks for completion; possess knowledge of computer functions and related technologies.

• Collaborate with Account Support and other teams/functions on requests for payment reallocations.

• Communicate with other departments regarding various items as necessary.

• Assist the Accounts Payable and Finance departments with audit documentation requests.

• Perform other assigned duties.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• At least 1 year of experience working with large data sets is required.

• Minimum 1 year of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Filters, Formulas, VLookups, and Pivots is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable or Cash Application role is preferred.

• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.

• A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish for both verbal and written communication is required.
