Case Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with national security and suitability investigations.

• Provide assistance to field and review departments through the investigator helpline and case scoping.

• Act as a subject matter expert on customer policies and procedures, case coverage, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and FWS.

• Respond to case-related inquiries from field investigators, reviewers, and section leads via telephone and email.

• Comprehend the essential functions of positions within the field and review departments.

• Review the initial stages of field investigations for adherence to national standards and customer specifications.

• Advise CACI field personnel on investigation responsibilities and challenges that arise during investigations.

• Evaluate designated case types and relay important case details to the field.

• Cancel unnecessary items and ensure that required fieldwork is scheduled or extended.

• Manage daily tasks and workload based on customer, business, and team requirements.

• Attend mandatory meetings.

• Execute other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must hold and maintain a current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R background investigation.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in conducting Federal background investigations and/or reviewing Federal background investigation reports.

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in conducting or processing background investigations.

• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing email and telephone inquiries.

• Availability for flexible scheduling, including morning and afternoon shifts and approximately two late afternoon shifts each month.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong time management, organizational, and administrative abilities.

• Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable U.S. Government security clearance.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Must meet the physical demands of an office setting and be able to work at a computer for extended periods.
