This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of daily progress for a caseload ranging from 50 to 100 cases by actively monitoring next steps, deadlines, and obstacles.
• Ensure a high-touch client experience by providing updates bi-weekly and responding to client inquiries within 24 hours.
• Assist attorneys in formulating action plans by reviewing case details and coordinating the new-client call within 24 hours of assignment.
• Facilitate medical treatment progression by overseeing referrals, authorizations, and appointment logistics, including transportation and interpretation services as needed.
• Help optimize client benefits by reviewing wages and tracking income benefits (TTD, TPD, PPD) to ensure accuracy and full payment.
• Request and follow up on WC-102-related documents such as medical records, physician panels, and wage information.
• Organize time-sensitive litigation events, including depositions, mediations, IMEs, hearings, and related notices.
• Communicate with adjusters and opposing counsel to expedite authorizations and maintain case momentum.
• Prepare and arrange essential documentation such as notices, stipulations, cover letters, settlement/demand materials, and case-related correspondence.
• Keep Filevine updated with precise notes, documents, contacts, and case phases to ensure the entire team has real-time clarity.
• Must-Have:
• - 2+ years of experience in supporting workers’ compensation matters (litigation and/or non-litigation).
• - Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload while remaining organized and responsive.
• - Excellent client communication skills and the confidence to explain timelines, next steps, and expectations.
• - Working knowledge of workers’ compensation case management, including medical treatment flow and income benefits.
• - Experience in preparing and coordinating depositions, mediations, hearings, and client scheduling logistics.
• - Strong attention to detail in documenting case activities and maintaining organized, accurate files.
• - Comfortable working within a case management system (Filevine strongly preferred).
• Nice to Have:
• - Proficiency in Filevine.
• - Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• - Experience drafting and filing Workers’ Compensation Board forms, motions, and discovery materials with attorney oversight.
• - Familiarity with ICMS workflows (initiating claims, submitting withdrawal notices, etc.).
• - Experience tracking liens, loans, provider balances, and case-related expenses.
