• Deliver exceptional personalized service to financial advisors by fostering reliable and satisfactory relationships that contribute to increased sales, retention, and market share.
• Collaborate with designated advisors to process and track new business submissions, respond to post-sale inquiries, and manage issues until resolution.
• Conduct suitability reviews for annuity applications utilizing system tools and established criteria for decision-making.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure cases are processed, issued, and finalized in a timely manner while managing agent expectations.
• Respond to inbound calls and emails from advisors and field offices; provide outstanding service that reflects ownership, follow-through, and a positive demeanor.
• Communicate and correspond via phone and email with agents to gather additional information, explain requirements, and keep them informed about pending business.
• Proactively update agents on the status of contracts, outstanding requirements, and transaction details.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve unusual situations; escalate concerns and/or complex cases when necessary.
• Process transactions while meeting speed of service and quality targets for each task.
• Collaborate with teams across various functions to ensure timely responses to pending actions.
• Follow up with agents regarding policy delivery requirements to guarantee policies are placed within defined timeframes.
• Provide insights on a range of complex agent service issues requiring expertise in insurance products and transactions, emphasizing agent satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
• Consult with other departments as needed.
• Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial services operations or a related industry.
• Exceptional communication skills that are clear and professional, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to empathize with the customer and respond to advisors with urgency and professionalism.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail coupled with the capability to multitask.
• Proficient PC skills for data entry, documentation, and navigation across multiple systems.
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with annuity products and operations.
• Knowledge of service delivery related to pre and post-issue workflows and timelines.
