This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and evaluate intricate accounting functions, including reconciliations, adjusting entries, bill payments, and accounts receivable for various entities.
• Manage annual accounting processes to prepare financial records for tax preparation, 1099 forms, and tangible personal property returns.
• Create financial compilations on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis tailored to client requirements.
• Identify and rectify material misstatements, inconsistencies, and risks in financial statements.
• Provide advisory and financial consulting services to clients, utilizing industry knowledge.
• Prepare engagement budgets and track performance to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Cultivate and strengthen meaningful client relationships to ensure clear expectations are defined and met.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of engagements, offering constructive feedback and mentoring junior team members.
• Investigate complex accounting issues and present recommendations supported by documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to discuss project statuses and financial matters.
• Engage in training programs and independent learning to enhance and expand technical expertise.
• Exhibit time management skills to prioritize engagements and guarantee timely completion of tasks.
• Execute additional duties and demonstrate flexibility to undertake a variety of responsibilities as assigned by firm leadership.
• Achieve annual billable hour and other targets to meet individual performance and contribute to overall firm productivity.
• 4-6 years of experience in general accounting.
• CPA license or eligibility (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of complex accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency in learning and utilizing accounting software and associated tools.
• Development of strong leadership and communication skills for mentoring teams and managing client relationships.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset to identify risks, inconsistencies, and solutions in financial reporting.
• High level of accuracy in mathematical and accounting tasks.
• Capability to oversee multiple engagements and ensure adherence to firm procedures.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities, including leadership in collaborative solution development and implementation.
• Ability to design and enhance accounting processes to drive efficiency, ensure accuracy, and uphold internal controls.
