Care Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with Admissions and manage calls as necessary

• Coordinate care and program services with patients, families, and the treatment team

• Organize, plan, and structure client-specific experiential opportunities

• Conduct virtual sessions and check-ins with clients and/or families

• Offer support and motivation to families

• Demonstrate appropriate table manners to clients facing eating disorders

• Provide families with personalized coaching on managing their loved ones' behaviors

• Deliver timely feedback through between-session messaging to encourage and support clients and families

• Notify medical and clinical staff to intervene during emergencies

• Uphold strict confidentiality for clients

• Participate in Treatment Team meetings

• Attend or facilitate groups as needed

• Join supervision and departmental meetings

• Engage in initial and ongoing training

• Manage cases for members, ensuring effective communication with all parties involved in the recovery process, including school officials, law enforcement, attorneys, etc.

• Accurately document all client interactions within specified timeframes

• Perform other related tasks as assigned based on requirements and availability

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in behavioral health or a related field, or 2 years of experience

• Ability to treat patients with respect and empathy

• Excellent listening and communication abilities

• Strong observational skills

• Proficient in computer use

• Willingness to work with clients experiencing Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating

• Ability to understand various models and theories related to eating disorders, trauma, mental health, and associated issues

• Awareness of diverse cultures and gender-specific matters, with the ability to integrate the needs of diverse groups into the practice setting

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently

• Must have a reliable internet connection

• Comfort with operating a computer and smartphone, as well as navigating applications on macOS and iOS

• Must be adept at communicating with colleagues via chat, phone, and video calls

• Ability to sit for the majority of the work shift
