This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Conduct outbound calls to gather relevant information and document it accurately.
• Responsible for handling inbound calls and assisting customers with pharmacy-related services.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism across all communication channels while delivering efficient, courteous, and friendly service.
• Liaise with insurance companies to investigate benefits and determine coverage eligibility.
• Provide support for prior authorizations and appeals.
• Assist patients with the enrollment process for copay assistance programs offered by manufacturers and non-profit organizations.
• Enhance job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and training activities.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve necessary tasks.
• Uphold and enhance quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines in line with program KPIs.
• Report Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) in accordance with program policies and guidelines.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• May assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or similar medical office roles.
• Prior data entry experience (minimum of three months) with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail in all tasks.
• Must be computer literate, capable of navigating multiple applications, tabs, and monitors.
• Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Suite programs (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and soft phone systems (WebEx, Mitel, Shoretel, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment by being responsive and available during working hours.
