Care Management Support Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the team to assist members, projects, and objectives that impact outcomes.

• Assist in and facilitate care for members.

• Engage with healthcare professionals, HR, and IT based on the chosen internship.

• Complete tasks within specified guidelines.

• Adhere to established policies and procedures while exercising a degree of independent judgment.

• Commit to approximately one scheduled hour each week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a transitioning service member eligible for the DOW SkillBridge program or a military spouse qualified for the military spouse fellowship.

• Must be a resident of South Carolina.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Capability to work from a designated area without disruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Previous experience with Medicare/Medicaid is preferred.

• Understanding of payer policies, insurance companies, and government health programs is preferred.

• A keen interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry is preferred.
