This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver empathetic customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted communication.
• Supervise a substantial volume of medical alerts and alarms.
• Accurately document call information, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time.
• Engage with members using empathy, respect, and patience.
• Confirm and update customer information within the system.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for prompt maintenance.
• Ask about and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.
• Handle access to highly sensitive materials while upholding strict confidentiality.
• Manage simultaneous talking and typing while navigating various screens and systems.
• Complete training for new hires and fulfill required compliance testing.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to remain composed and empathetic in stressful situations.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Competent typing abilities (minimum 35 WPM).
• Experience with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Efficiently navigate between multiple screens and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and varied hours as required.
• Required minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps for download and 25Mbps for upload.
• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
