This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Overcome and address challenges within designated accounts through customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans aimed at enhancing product demand and improving patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with teammates in the territory, field teams, and colleagues at the home office.
• Examine market, competitive, territory, and cross-functional dynamics.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to identify local insights and aid in pull-through initiatives.
• Lead customer interactions, whether virtually or in person.
• Organize planning sessions with stakeholders to tackle complex challenges.
• Provide timely access support and coordinate with Patient Specialty Services.
• Utilize digital tools and omni-channel strategies for both virtual and face-to-face customer engagements.
• Act as the main contact for accounts and healthcare providers, connecting customers with Novartis resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from a 4-year institution.
• Within the past 5 years, experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly intricate sales environments.
• For the Territory Account Specialist level: 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
• For the Senior Territory Account Specialist level: 5+ years of relevant experience is necessary.
• For the Executive Territory Account Specialist level: 10+ years of relevant experience is essential.
• Candidates at the Associate level may possess limited prior sales experience or 4+ years of leadership service in the U.S. military.
• A proven history of consistently high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Analytical skills to locate, prioritize, and utilize pertinent information.
• Ethical leadership skills and the ability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Must reside within the designated territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geography.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.
• Ability to communicate clinical product information effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional matrix environment.
